Charter flight punctuality at London Stansted improved during the rolling year to date compared with the same period the previous year, with the average delay reducing to around 16 minutes with 77% overall on-time performance recorded.
Charter flight punctuality at London Stansted was much better in all categories than the UK average during the period.

Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways were the only carriers operating a significant number of charter flights at London Stansted during the summer 2011 season.
Both carriers achieved very good timekeeping at the airport during the period. Thomson Airways flights had the lowest average delay, at around 10 minutes compared with 12 minutes for Thomas Cook, however the latter had slightly higher on-time performance at 85.4% compared with 84.6% for Thomson.

Thomson Airways was the most punctual charter airline at London Stansted during the winter 2010 / 11 season, with the average flight operating around 12 minutes late and 79% of flights on-time.
The small number of charter flights operated by Monarch Airlines followed in second position with an average delay of 18 minutes and 61% on-time performance.
Thomas Cook Airlines charter flights at Stansted had the longest delays during the season at 24 minutes on average, with 64% on-time performance.
