The charter flight punctuality profile at the airport was better than the UK average during the year, with the exception of on-time performance which was slightly lower.

Thomsonfly had the best punctuality of all UK charter airlines at London Stansted airport during the summer 2007 season, with the average flight operating just 11 minutes late and 82% of flights operating on-time.
MyTravel Airways and Thomas Cook Airlines followed with above-average timekeeping, with Monarch Airlines and First Choice Airways achieving close to average punctuality for the airport.
Poorer timekeeping was demonstrated by XL Airways during the season with the average flight delayed by 32 minutes and 1 in 10 flights operating over an hour late.

Thomsonfly charter flights recorded the best punctuality at London Stansted during the winter 2006 / 07 season, with an average delay of 12 minutes and an on-time performance of 82%.
Thomas Cook Airlines followed in second position with an average delay of around 20 minutes and 68% on-time performance.
The only other airline to operate a significant number of flights at Stansted during the season was First Choice Airways, with an average delay of 26 minutes and 68% of flights operating on-time.
