The average charter flight at Manchester airport was delayed by around 29 minutes, with 61% on-time performance during the summer 2008 season.
XL Airways had the best punctuality at the airport with an average delay of 21 minutes, and 69% on-time performance, but ended operations before the end of the season.
Thomsonfly / First Choice followed with an average delay of 26 minutes and 61% on-time performance.
Thomas Cook Airlines and Monarch Airlines had the longest delays at Manchester during the period, averaging 32 minutes and 43 minutes respectively. In the case of Monarch Airlines only 50% of charter flights operated on-time at Manchester during the season.
