By far the most punctual UK charter airline at Manchester during the summer 2006 season was MyTravel Airways with an average delay of 13 minutes and 83% on-time performance.
First Choice Airways were second in the ranking with an average delay of 22 minutes, and on-time performance of 68%.
Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomsonfly had close to average punctuality at Manchester.
Poor punctuality was seen for charter flights operated by XL Airways, Astraeus and Monarch Airlines with more than 1 in 7 flights over an hour late. Flyjet had by far the worst delays at Manchester over the period, with only 53% of flights operating on-time and 1 in 8 delayed extensively, by over 3 hours.

MyTravel Airways were the most punctual UK charter airline at Manchester airport over the 2005 / 2006 winter season, with a remarkable turnaround from their performance during the previous winter season at the airport, reducing the average delay from 42 minutes to just 14 minutes and increasing on-time performance from 63% to 82%.
Thomas Cook Airlines, First Choice Airways, Flyjet, and Thomsonfly all had close to average delays at Manchester during the period, the First Choice performance standing out from the other carriers in view of their relatively high on-time performance and lower incidence of delays in excess of 1 hour.
Monarch Airlines and Astraeus both had poor timekeeping at Manchester during the season, with average delays of around 37 minutes and on-time performance around the 56% mark.
