Charter flight punctuality at Glasgow Airport improved during the rolling year to date compared with the same period the previous year, the average delay reducing to 27 minutes, with on-time performance increasing from 61% to 69%.
The delay profile of charter flights at the airport was worse than the UK average during the period in all delay categories.

Thomson Airways and Thomas Cook Airlines were the only carriers operating a significant number of charter flights at Glasgow during the summer 2011 season.
Thomson flights had the lowest average delay at 22 minutes, with 73% on-time performance, while Thomas Cook flights were delayed on average by 26 minutes with 68% on-time performance.

Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways were the only significant charter operators at Glasgow during the winter 2010 / 11 season, with Thomas Cook flights recording a shorter average delay of 34 minutes compared with 38 minutes for Thomson, while Thomson charter flights achieved a better on-time performance of 69% compared with 64% for Thomas Cook.
