Monarch Airlines was the most punctual charter airline at Birmingham during the summer 2010 season, with an average delay of 16 minutes and 77% on-time performance recorded.
Thomson Airways and Thomas Cook Airlines followed with close to average punctuality at the airport, Thomson flights having slightly better on-time performance at 74% compared with 71% for Thomas Cook.
A small number of flights operated by Viking Airlines during the season to date had poor timekeeping with less than 50% of flights operating on time, and more than 1 in 5 flights delayed by over an hour.

A small number of Monarch charter flights were held up on average by nearly half an hour, while flights operated by the largest charter airline at Birmingham, Thomson Airways, suffered long delays of 31 minutes on average with 65% on-time performance.
Viking Airlines flights had the longest delays of over 1 hour and 40 minutes on average with 1 in 7 flights over three hours late, based on a small number of flights in total at Birmingham during the season.
