Viking Airlines flights at UK reporting airports recorded much longer delays than the average of all charter flights over the rolling year to date, with the average flight running 52 minutes behind schedule (some 75% longer than the UK average) and on-time performance of just 45% (20 percentage points poorer than average).

Viking Airlines charter flights suffered long delays over the summer 2010 season, with less than half of all flights operating on time (45%) and the average flight operating nearly an hour behind schedule (52 minutes late).

Performance was poor at all reporting airports, particularly Manchester where only 34% of flights operated on time, and at Glasgow where more than 1 in 10 flights were delayed excessively - by over three hours.

Viking Airlines charter flights at UK reporting airports had relatively poor punctuality during the winter 2009 / 2010 season, with long delays recorded at all UK reporting airports.

At Gatwick performance was slightly above average for the airline, with the average flight operating 46 minutes behind schedule and 50% of flights operating on time.

At Manchester poor timekeeping was demonstrated with a 67 minute average delay and only 36% on-time performance recorded. Nearly 1 in 3 Viking charter flights at Manchester operated over an hour behind schedule during the season.

There were also a small number of Viking charter flights at Glasgow and Birmingham.
