Despite the drop in punctuality during 2005, Thomsonfly timekeeping remained comfortably above the UK charter average in all categories.

During the summer 2006 season Thomsonfly had particularly good punctuality at London Stansted, where the average delay was 14 minutes and 84% of flights operated on time.
Punctuality at London Luton, London Gatwick, Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham and Manchester was very similar, and close to the average for the airline.
Thomsonfly flights at Edinburgh had the worst punctuality with an average delay of 35 minutes recorded.

With an average delay of over 24 minutes recorded, the winter 2005 / 2006 represents the worst winter punctuality season for Thomsonfly on record. Only 66% of services operated on-time, compared to 76% and 78% for the previous two winter seasons for the airline.
Flights at London Luton and Newcastle had relatively good punctuality, while all other airports saw poorer timekeeping particularly Manchester, London Gatwick and London Stansted where around 1 in 10 services was delayed by over an hour.
