Thomas Cook Airlines achieved runner-up position for punctuality during the summer 2006 season with the second lowest average delay of all UK charter airlines.
The best Thomas Cook charter punctuality over the season was seen at Birmingham, London Luton, London Stansted and Newcastle, with average delays of 11 to 16 minutes.
Poorer performance was seen at other airports, particularly Glasgow where an average delay of 29 minutes was recorded and only 61% of flights operated on time.

The average Thomas Cook charter flight was delayed by 20 minutes during the winter 2005 / 2006 season, an improvement for the carrier when compared to the same period the previous year.
Flights at London Stansted, Newcastle and Birmingham all achieved very good timekeeping, with on-time performance of over 80% in all cases, while services at Glasgow, Manchester and London Gatwick suffered longer delays, particularly the latter where nearly 40% of flights were over 15 minutes late during the season.
