At airport level for the same period, MyTravel was the most punctual UK charter airline at Birmingham and Newcastle, and was runner-up UK charter airline for punctuality at London Gatwick, London Stansted and Manchester.

MyTravel Airways flight punctuality declined during 2007 compared with 2006, the average delay increasing from 16 minutes to nearly 20 minutes and on-time performance reducing by three percentage points.

Despite this slight deterioration, MyTravel punctuality performance remained significantly better than the UK average during 2007.

MyTravel Airways was the most punctual UK charter airline during the summer 2007 season, for the second consecutive year. The average flight was delayed by 20 minutes, with 79% on-time performance.

Good timekeeping was seen at most UK reporting airports, particularly at Newcastle and Birmingham where on-time performance levels approaching 90% were recorded and the average flight was held up for less than 10 minutes.

Longer delays were however seen at London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow airports, with on-time performance levels of around 75% and average delays of 22 to 26 minutes seen.

MyTravel Airways was in runner-up position for their punctuality during the winter 2006 / 07 season, missing out on top position by only a fraction with very good punctuality seen at Newcastle, Birmingham and Manchester airports.

Some longer delays at Edinburgh, Glasgow and London Gatwick had an adverse effect on the overall average delay for the airline of 19.8 minutes, but on-time performance was the best of any carrier during the season at 82% overall.
