Monarch Airlines charter flight punctuality fell sharply during the rolling year to date compared with the same period the previous year, with the average delay increasing from 23 minutes to 33 minutes and on-time performance declining by nearly seven percentage points to 62%.
Monarch Airlines charter flights had a poorer punctuality profile in all categories compared to the UK average during the rolling year to date.

Monarch charter flights at Birmingham had the best punctuality during the summer 2010 season with an average delay of around 16 minutes and 77% on-time performance recorded.
Flights at London Gatwick followed with close to average punctuality for the airline, while flights at Edinburgh and London Luton had slightly below average punctuality with average delays of around 31 to 33 minutes recorded and 55% to 57% on-time performance.
Monarch charter delays were longest at Manchester, with the average flight operating nearly 35 minutes behind schedule.

Monarch Airlines charter flights were delayed by an average of 42 minutes with 50% on-time performance during the winter 2009 / 10 season. Flights at Birmingham had the best punctuality with an average delay of 29 minutes.
Monarch charter flights at London Stansted, London Gatwick and Manchester had longer delays of between 34 minutes and 46 minutes on average, while the small number of flights operated at London Luton had the longest delays at 50 minutes.
