There was a significant drop in punctuality for Flyjet charter flights in 2005 compared with 2004 in all delay categories, with the average Flyjet charter flight delayed by over 60 minutes and only 38% of flights operating on-time.

This performance was much poorer that the average for all UK charter flights.

The 2005 summer season saw Flyjet once again at the bottom of the UK charter airlines punctuality table, with the average flight held up around 1 hour and less than 40% of all flights operating on time.

Punctuality performance at Manchester Airport was marginally better than that at London Gatwick, but remained very poor.

Flyjet had their poorest season for punctuality in the winter 2004 / 2005 season since operations commenced in 2003, with the average service operating over an hour behind schedule, only a third of flights operating on time and more than 1 in 4 services delayed over an hour.
