Flyjet punctuality during 2004 was similar to that in 2003, remaining well below the average for all UK charter flights with the average flight delayed by around 40 minutes and 1 in 5 services operating over an hour late, twice the UK average.

The 2004 summer season has seen Flyjet at the bottom of the UK charter airlines punctuality table, with the average flight held up 42 minutes and less than half of all flights operating on time. On average 1 in 5 Flyjet services was delayed in excess of 1 hour.

Punctuality performance at Manchester Airport was marginally better than that at London Gatwick.

Flyjet operated very few charter flights at UK reporting airports during the winter 2003 / 2004 season, with average punctuality shown at Manchester airport and longer delays at London Gatwick and Birmingham, though this is based on a small sample.
