These pages show punctuality and delay statistics for Flyjet charter flights at UK reporting airports. Data is available for 2003 to 2007, when the airline ceased charter flights. Simply select which year you are interested in below.

Please note that Flyjet became part of Silverjet, whose scheduled services were analysed on our Luton Airport or London to New York pages while the airline was in operation.

Flyjet punctuality during 2004 was similar to that in 2003, remaining well below the average for all UK charter flights with the average flight delayed by around 40 minutes and 1 in 5 services operating over an hour late, twice the UK average.

Note: A small number of flights to and from Glasgow (4), London Stansted (3), Birmingham (2) and Newcastle (2) were not analysed

The 2004 summer season has seen Flyjet at the bottom of the UK charter airlines punctuality table, with the average flight held up 42 minutes and less than half of all flights operating on time. On average 1 in 5 Flyjet services was delayed in excess of 1 hour.

Punctuality performance at Manchester Airport was marginally better than that at London Gatwick.

Flyjet operated very few charter flights at UK reporting airports during the winter 2003 / 2004 season, with average punctuality shown at Manchester airport and longer delays at London Gatwick and Birmingham, though this is based on a small sample.
