Noteworthy Punctuality
During the 2007 summer season, First Choice Airways was the most punctual UK charter airline at Glasgow, and was runner-up UK charter airline for punctuality at Edinburgh and London Luton.

First Choice charter flight punctuality declined slightly during 2007 compared with 2006, the average delay increasing from 24 to 25 minutes and on-time performance reducing from 67% to 64%.

Broadly, First Choice charter flight punctuality was slightly better than the UK average during 2007, with the exception of on-time performance which was 2% poorer than average.

First Choice charter flights at London Luton, Glasgow, London Stansted and Birmingham airports had good punctuality during the summer 2007 season.

Flights at London Gatwick, Edinburgh and Manchester had poorer timekeeping with average flights at these airports delayed by around 30 minutes and on-time performance of 60% or less.

At Manchester in particular 1 in 7 First Choice charter flights was delayed by over an hour during the season, the highest level recorded for the airline at Manchester since we began analysing records in 2002.

There was an improvement in First Choice charter flight punctuality during the winter 2006 / 07 season compared with the same period the previous year, and the carrier was the most punctual analysed charter airline over the season.

Good punctuality was seen at London Luton, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester airports, while longer delays were recorded at London Gatwick, London Stansted and Edinburgh airports.
