Astraeus began operating charter flights during April 2002, and the data for their 2002 punctuality in the table on the left relates to the April to December period, and is therefore not directly comparable with the average for all UK charter flights for the whole year.
Generally however Astraeus flights had poorer performance than the UK average for charter flights in 2002, particularly with delays greater than 1 hour, 1 in 5 flights being affected in this way, twice the UK average.

The first summer season of Astraeus operations resulted in an average flight delay of 35 minutes, with only 50% on-time performance and 1 in 5 flights delayed over an hour.
London Gatwick saw the most punctual performance with a 31 minute average delay, whilst at Manchester the average delay was 44 minutes with only 2 in 5 flights operating within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.
